I was lying earlier

Okay, NOW the bread is done. On to the lemon pudding cake, since that's kind of the entire reason I bought the Meyer lemons in the first place.

Confession: I made lemon pudding cake last night, and decided to try it with Sucanat. Big mistake. If you were wondering, lemon is Felix and Sucanat is Oscar. So now I have to make it all over again, this time with dead sugar.

Oscar and Felix, now that's a good line.
How much do Meyer lemons cost in Utah?

I got them at Costco . . . I think it was somewhere in the neighborhood of seven dollars for a four pound box. I don't know, though. That sounds pretty cheap to me.

Man, you've been busy. I almost made some ricotta yesterday but... didn't. It's fun to see what it looks like. And I can't think of anything else to do with milk- hmmm, maybe pudding or a cream pie.

Beautiful bread.

As to what to use milk in, Chocolate milk, scalloped potatoes, pancakes, creamy soups use it for the liquid when cooking meals (oatmeal, cornmeal, etc..), German pancakes, ice cream. This looks interesting to use 4 cups of milk and lemons. http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Milk-Pie-Galatoboureko/Detail.aspx

You can also freeze milk to use later. It has a tendency to separate a little but a good shaking solves that or just use it for cooking. If all else fails, by dry cereal, when I do, the milk disappears FAST.
