product may stay: FX Special Effects Silk Drops

The texture of my hair is at that ugly intersection between straight and curly, and it tends to frizz and look all frumpy unless I go to heroic lengths to straighten or curl it. And that violates my Slattern's Code of Ethics, which demands that I spend only minimal time and effort improving my appearance, unless I'm going somewhere. I want to be able to rub some gunk in my hair and be done. I got part of the way there with a mix of Bumble & Bumble Curl Conscious Defining Creme and whatever cheap curl enhancing gel I could find at the grocery store, but I still ended up looking like a Bichon Frise once my hair dried. On a whim I bought the FX Special Effects Silk Drops from Smith's, and I am amazed by how well it works. You know how right after a good haircut your hair is all soft and shiny and just sort of floomps into the right style? Every day is like that, now. Which means there's probably something wrong with it. They probably got it from Sugar Creek or the Sacred Miracle Cave and I'll never be able to wash it out. Until that's proven, though, product may stay.

Ooh, I may have to try this one. I too live in the land between bouncy sassy curls and attitude straight. I like to call that land "natural" but let's be honest, it is really just frumpy!
